Rustic Senior Portraits: Alison

On my last trip to California, I met up with this gorgeous gal to document her senior portraits! Alison is a senior at Golden Valley High School and just a few months away from graduation! I've known Alison and her family for years (her mom was my junior high teacher!) so I was absolutely thrilled when she asked me to take her senior pictures!
We met up at Knights Ferry, just a short drive from Merced, and the day couldn't have been more beautiful! The rain had finally stopped, and everything was green and fresh - the perfect setting for her pictures! I had such a blast getting to hike around the historic park with Alison, and hear about her plans for after graduation! So thankful for my time with her and excited to share some of my favorites from her senior session...

Allison is the President of the FFA chapter at her high school so it was super fun getting to incorporate her jacket into the shoot!

Love this one!

Knights Ferry is known for its Covered Bridge, one of the longest west of the Mississippi! Super neat and made for a really awesome backdrop with Allison's pop of purple! Lovelovelove!

Another favorite!

Allison, you are beautiful, inside and out!

As the sun began to set, we hiked up to a higher point to get a look out and I'm so glad we did!

Following graduation, Allison will be attending Azusa Pacific University!!!!

She plans to study Social Work, and hopes to one day work with younger children as a caretaker in either foster care or adoption agencies. I mean, how amazing is that?!?

Love this girl's heart for others!

Allison said she was originally inspired to pursue Social Work from the movie Instant Family. Inspiration is everywhere!

Love the pop of red here with the sun setting!

One of my favorites! Thank you for letting me document this amazing and exciting time in your life! xx

Can't wait to see all the amazing things God has planned for you in the next chapter of your life!!!! Congratulations Alison!!!
